This accessing of fine grained location information is automatically started when the TEP device connects with the ALLY app when you are in your vehicle. The accessing of this location information will occur even if the ALLY app is not visible in the phone screen (i.e. it will take place with the ALLY app is in the "background") and for this reason the user must ensure that they select the option to grant the ALLY app access to location information "All of the time" when prompted when setting up the ALLY app.
